Thermometers were missing or inaccurate.

Inspector’s note: Observed no visible thermometer inside of milk cooler in the front prep area or in the walk-in freezer. Must provide a thermometer inside of all coolers and walk-in freezer to properly monitor the ambient air temperature of all coolers and freezers.

Insects, rodents, or animals were present, or the building wasn’t sealed against them.

Inspector’s note: Observed a 1/4 inch gap at bottle left corner of the rear exit door. Instructed management to rodent proof door to prevent pest entry.

Equipment or surfaces were in poor repair or made of material that can’t be cleaned.

Inspector’s note: Observed walk-in freezer door unable to close properly with gaskets in need of repair. Instructed to repair door/gaskets for proper closure.

Inspector’s note: Observed a leak from the piping underneath handwashing sink in the dishwashing area. Instructed to repair and maintain.

Garbage wasn’t handled or stored properly.

Inspector’s note: Observed small pieces of cardboard on the ground in rear outdoor dumpster enclosure area. Instructed to remove and maintain.

Ventilation or lighting was inadequate.

Inspector’s note: Observed missing light shields for light fixtures in the walk-in freezer. Instructed to provide.
